Tufting is another form of art to create a rug or any textured surface, using a specific tool that automatically weaves yarn fibers through a cloth. You can tuft a piece to hang on a wall, a seat cushion, a keyboard mat, a pillowcase, and so much more.

The basic materials used for tufting are the tufting gun, yarn threader, cloth, yarn, adhesive, and backing.

Generally, it varies based on the size of the rug and the simplicity or details within it. You can tuft multiple rugs in a day but you do have to wait a while for the rug adhesive to dry. Also, do a great job trimming your piece to give it a clean. crisp finish.

To do a basic rug with one color within a 34”x 36” frame that contains no words/letters or small details can take 45min to an hour to complete. As a beginner, you can achieve this outcome.

The starting price for 36"-42" size rugs is $125. Price increases 10% every half foot.

I can do any size from 36" to 72"

(3ft-7ft).

After paying a deposit, expect to receive updates and photos of the process of your rug. Once your rug is ready for PICKUP or DELIVERY, final payment is due.

You must be 16 years old or older to reserve a spot at Tuft Haven.

Minors, under 18 must have legal guardian sign waivers.

Our tufting frames are 34” x 36”. In other terms, you can create a rug up to almost 3 ft.

You can make our custom rug the biggest you can make it within the frame. You can also make multiple mini rugs if they are sized appropriately.

After you reserve a spot with Tuft Haven, you will receive a confirmation via email. Once you receive the email, please forward your digital image to:

1. To save tracing time.

2. Your image has to be approve based on details due to duration of workshops. Tufting workshops are 3 hours and it is important you complete tufting process to have backing applied.

3. There is an $15 additional fee if you do not finish tufting on time.
